Concurso de Jóvenes Científicos de la Unión Europea de 2024 en Polonia
El Concurso de Jóvenes Científicos de la Unión Europea (EUCYS, por sus siglas en inglés) es la feria científica estudiantil más importante de la Unión Europea (UE) y desempeña un papel crucial en el fomento de la participación en la investigación y la innovación en toda la UE, especialmente en tecnologías sostenibles. En este contexto, el equipo del proyecto EUCYS2024, financiado con fondos europeos, se centra en la organización de la 35.ª edición de EUCYS, prevista para septiembre de 2024 en Katowice (Polonia). El equipo del proyecto pretende dar a conocer los logros científicos de estudiantes de la UE y de todo el mundo y, a su vez, propiciar su encuentro. Mediante estas iniciativas, EUCYS2024 promoverá la ciencia y animará a los jóvenes científicos a participar en actos y oportunidades similares.
Objetivo
This proposal concerns the organization of the 35th European Union Contest for Young Scientists (EUCYS), which will be held in Katowice, Poland, in September 2024.
The European Union (EU) Contest for Young Scientists (EUCYS) is the most important student science fair in the EU, showcasing the best of student scientific achievement in the EU and beyond. Each year, the event brings together promising, talented students & bright young minds (14-20 years old) from all over Europe and beyond, to present their projects to a panel of international judges.
The competition helps promote science and research, and draws attention to young talents in European and global countries. During the competition, young scientists have the opportunity to meet other participants with similar interests, confront their project with other young scientists' activities, and talk with the judges - the most prominent scientists in Europe. The EUCYS competition works to attract young people to careers in science and technology.
