Data Management Plan (opens in new window)

This proposal intrinsically involves the collaborative works and sharing the research output to the scientific communities and society to make awareness as well as socio-economic impacts of it. Every experimentally obtained data, whether spectral or microscopic, will be automatically stored on tape at WIN and maintained there for a minimum of 15 years. The analysed data will be kept on WIN's dedicated disk space (a RAID device). It will also be constantly backed up and written to digital tape, one set of which is kept off-site. The precise procedures followed in order to obtain the imaging data will be preserved in lab books, maybe in print copy as well as electronically alongside the data. Similar to this, software package version numbers and the precise methodology will be recorded in electronic lab books to guarantee that investigations may be repeated. The study data will be shared using the presentation or publications as well as the university website. The data will be accessible either through public databases or via direct request to the participants. The University of Aveiro has launched DUnAs, the Repository of Research Data, to facilitate archiving, preservation, and collaborative networks for sharing research output with scientific communities and society. The initiative aims to increase communication, provide information to stakeholders, and enhance the scientific impact of research findings. Open-source software and secure platforms like Protocols.io and Globus will facilitate data management and sharing, addressing public emergencies and providing access for future researchers. It includes managing the project, execution of all project activities, and its implementation towards the successful completion of the project maintaining the milestone, output, and significant derivable in a timely manner.
