Objective
EUROMAR 2005 (July 2005, The Netherlands) will be the proving ground for a new generation of annual Magnetic Resonance Conferences in which the existing bi-annual EENC, Colloque Ampère MR and UK NMR-DG International NMR Conferences are integrated. Next to a world-class level conference covering progress in magnetic resonance, it aims to provide high-level training opportunities to young scientists in integrated special workshops, guided poster tours and meet the speaker sessions. This ¿Magnetic Resonance fo r the Future¿ meeting provides workshops and sessions on methodological developments, exploiting polarisation, developments that push the application envelope, computational aspects and emerging techniques. As keynote speakers leading scientists are being invited. The proposed program of some 80 lectures provides next to keynote, plenary and invited lectures over 45 contributed lectures. For the latter young scientists will be selected on the basis of their proposed poster and/or on recommendation from work group leaders. Europe has a leading role in magnetic resonance, both scientifically and with respect to commercial leadership and the conference aims to emphasize this leading role. Vendors will have the opportunity to promote their products in talks and i n vendor suites
