Ampher Controller Technology

Project description

A solution so EV drivers won’t ever be left stranded

The electric vehicles (EV) market is booming. However, range anxiety – the fear of running out of power without being able to find a charging station – is real. This is why the road to tomorrow’s e-mobility demand needs to be lined with charging stations. The current grid capacity needs to be expanded so that many EVs can be charged simultaneously – an endeavour that could cost billions and take decades. The EU-funded ACT project will make it possible to charge up to six times more EVs simultaneously with the same grid connection. ACT will develop novel microcontroller and semiconductor technologies that can prepare current EV charging stations to meet a growing demand.
