Next Generation Blockchain-based Supply Chain Traceability & Transparency Platform

Project description

Blockchain-based traceability solution enhances industrial supply chains

Supply chains across various industrial sectors, including agrifood, textiles, cosmetics, minerals and aerospace, are encountering numerous challenges in controlling fraud, detecting traceability and maintaining transparency. Funded by the European Innovation Council, the tilkal project will develop a blockchain-based platform for supply chain traceability and transparency. The platform provides a digital representation of the entire supply chain, end-to-end and in real time, allowing for compliance with existing and upcoming regulations while maintaining transparency for all stakeholders. By combining a secure and provable B2B data-sharing network with algorithms for real-time supply chain analysis and scoring, the platform ensures trust and traceability for Industry 4.0. This solution offers full control over both upstream and downstream supply chains, creating an efficient supply chain ecosystem.

Objective

Tilkal is a blockchain-based supply chain traceability & transparency platform that provides a full digital representation of a supply chain, end-to-end and in real time. Tilkal enables businesses to be: in control of their supply chains, compliant with the existing and upcoming regulations & transparent to all the stakeholders about their usage.

Tilkal is developing a backbone solution to ensure trust and traceability for Industry 4.0. It offers traceability & visibility over a supply chain both up- and downstream. It combines a secured and provable B2B data sharing network (based on blockchain to enable reciprocal responsibility across the supply chain), with algorithms for supply chain analysis and scoring in real time.

We have early traction in agrifood, textiles, cosmetics, minerals & aerospace. Companies use beta Tilkal solution to improve control, compliance, sourcing origin and get fraud detection capabilities as well as to increase transparency towards their customers.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.
This project's classification has been validated by the project's team.

Keywords

Project’s keywords as indicated by the project coordinator. Not to be confused with the EuroSciVoc taxonomy (Fields of science)

Programme(s)

Multi-annual funding programmes that define the EU’s priorities for research and innovation.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Funding Scheme

Funding scheme (or “Type of Action”) inside a programme with common features. It specifies: the scope of what is funded; the reimbursement rate; specific evaluation criteria to qualify for funding; and the use of simplified forms of costs like lump sums.
