Project description
Overcoming language and communication barriers to obtain equality and social inclusion
Addressing the needs of half the adult population worldwide, the EU-funded project capito offers access to complex information based on a three-level language system. By simplifying texts using Artificial Intelligence, the system allows people facing language barriers and learning difficulties or disabilities to cope better with social and workplace demands of everyday life. The project introduces a marketable solution that is tailored for both public and commercial applications and certainly useful to industries such as machine translation software developers and digital communication system manufacturers.
Objective
CFS Consulting, Franchise & Sales GmbH, founded as a role model for combining social impact and entrepreneurship, is specialised in language simplification and accessible information.
Our leading brand capito creates a disruptive AI-based text simplification system, which transforms any text into comprehensible, personalised information. We reshape public and private communications, the social sector and the digital machine translation industry. We serve all target groups as we create 3 understandable language levels (CEFR: A1, A2 and B1). The outcome is a barrier-free and tailored information for all adults, who are not able to understand complex language: More than half of the adults worldwide, according to OECD).
capito represents the core pillar of an accessible society, enabling citizens with disabilities, learning difficulties and low language skills to take independent decisions, improve their communicational skills and knowledge and integrate them into the labour market.
