From a technical point of view, the company reached an optimized version of the Archangel system for chronic patients monitoring. We performed a comprehensive analysis of different watches and wristband devices, which led to the construction of SpO2 sensors and to the design of a bracelet. Key results included the integration of a core temperature measurement sensor - tested on different patients and through different environmental conditions - and the design of a new device able to receive data from all devices and to forward these data to the server. Finally, a novel database was established to homogenize information from spot-check medical devices and high-resolution data units. The introduction of optimized protocols has amplified the flexibility of data transmission, enabling remote adjustments from intervals of 10 minutes to real-time live streaming. In this period, Check Point Care also performed an updated FTO analysis and structured a sound and comprehensive plan for disseminating and communicating results to target audiences. For the AI part, tasks included annotating and structuring existing and new patient files, retraining AI-core algorithms to incorporate additional digital biomarkers for chronic patient management, creating new models for detecting physiological state deterioration, and validating these models on test data for deployment in a working prototype environment. The core AI algorithms were enhanced to utilize more parameters from the Digital Twin, increasing the total to 100, and models were validated on both historical data and new patient cases. Clinical protocols established a workflow for the Virtual Ward to manage deteriorations in chronic patients, with the AI system aiding in automatic detection of patient state and therapy effectiveness.
