MBA-ToolBox is set of multimedia training aids on business process re-engineering (BPR) for employees and managers. The aids are presented on a compact disc read only memory (CDROM), providing an introductory course on BPR, together with evaluation versions of commonly used management software tools (so-called 'MBA-Ware') Companies using these techniques for process re-engineering and quality management can expect large-scale benefits in competing more effectively and in gaining sustainable competitive advantages. The development has been informed by a User Interest Group (UIG), consisting of business schools, industrial competence centres and research facilities in several European countries. MBA-ToolBox helps towards: Europe wide dissemination of management tools (MBA-Ware); adapting information technology (IT) tools for computer-based training on current management methods; conceptual training as well as case studies for all identified management areas; cultural standardization of management approaches; exploitation of management software tools of ESPRIT-projects (and others).
