Final Activity Report Summary - TECH2MARKET (Research and innovation management and commercialisation)

The objective of the project was the transfer of knowledge in research and innovation management and commercialisation into the company through the recruitment of an external researcher with extensive knowledge and experience in the relevant areas of competencies.

The following activities were part of the fellow's responsibilities: coordination of technology assessments, technology benchmarking, intellectual property research and protection, detailed definition of product or service, position of product in the market, standards and regulations, market research (customers characterisation, market segments, structure, competitors, and potential for development), marketing issues (pricing policy, sales and distribution policies, promotion, dissemination), production and operations issues (production process, suppliers, production costs, production budgets), financial issues (capital requirements, funding, projections) as well as risks, problems, and assumptions in the research and innovation process.
