Objectif The project aims to research the use of technology in formative assessment classroom practices in ways that allow teachers to respond to the emerging needs of low achieving learners in mathematics and science so that they are better motivated in their learning of these important subjects. This international project will adapt and develop existing research-informed pedagogical interventions (developed by the partners), suited to implementation at scale, for working with low attaining pupils and transforming teaching. The project will seek to: report the differences in the way that systemic structures influence the trajectories of lower achieving students within the participating countries; identify their typical pathways through the school system and reveal the educational opportunities that are open to these students. It will report on the varying assessment tools that are used to identify lower achieving students and may determine these pathways, with attention paid to the different interpretations of low achievement in each country. This project aims to:• foster high quality interactions in international classrooms that are instrumental in raising achievement for low achievers;• expand our knowledge of technologically enhanced teaching and assessment methods addressing low achievement in mathematics and scienceMajor objectives for the project are to:• offer approaches for the use of new technologies to support the formative assessment of lower achieving students.• develop sustainable teaching practices that improve attainment in M&S for the targeted students.• produce a toolkit for teachers to support the development of practice and a professional development resource to support it• disseminate the outcomes Champ scientifique sciences socialessciences de l'éducationdidactiquesciences naturellesmathématiques Programme(s) FP7-SIS - Specific Programme "Capacities": Science in society Thème(s) SiS.2013.2.2.3-1 - Research on the role of teaching methods and assessment methods in addressing low achievement in the field of Mathematics, Science and Technology (MST) Appel à propositions FP7-SCIENCE-IN-SOCIETY-2013-1 Voir d’autres projets de cet appel Régime de financement CP-FP - Small or medium-scale focused research project Coordinateur UNIVERSITY OF NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE Adresse Kings gate NE1 7RU Newcastle upon tyne GB Voir sur la carte Type d’activité Higher or Secondary Education Establishments projects.administrative_contact Deborah Grieves (Mrs.) Liens Contacter l’organisation Opens in new window Site web Opens in new window Contribution de l’UE € 318 777,00 Participants (9) Trier par ordre alphabétique Trier par contribution de l’UE Tout développer Tout réduire HOGSKOLEN I SOR-TRONDELAG Participation terminée Norvège Contribution de l’UE € 0,00 Adresse E c dahls gate 2 N-7004 Trondheim Voir sur la carte Type d’activité Higher or Secondary Education Establishments projects.administrative_contact Birgit Pepin (Prof.) Liens Contacter l’organisation Opens in new window Site web Opens in new window THE UNIVERSITY OF NOTTINGHAM GB Contribution de l’UE € 224 025,00 Adresse University park NG7 2RD Nottingham Voir sur la carte Type d’activité Higher or Secondary Education Establishments projects.administrative_contact Paul Cartledge (Mr.) Liens Contacter l’organisation Opens in new window Site web Opens in new window ECOLE NORMALE SUPERIEURE DE LYON France Contribution de l’UE € 160 776,00 Adresse Parvis rene descartes 15 69342 Lyon Voir sur la carte Type d’activité Higher or Secondary Education Establishments projects.administrative_contact Bouvier Martine (Ms.) Liens Contacter l’organisation Opens in new window NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF IRELAND MAYNOOTH Irlande Contribution de l’UE € 170 024,00 Adresse Co kildare W23 Maynooth Voir sur la carte Type d’activité Higher or Secondary Education Establishments projects.administrative_contact Majella Dempsey (Ms.) Liens Contacter l’organisation Opens in new window Site web Opens in new window UNIVERSITA DEGLI STUDI DI TORINO Italie Contribution de l’UE € 211 689,00 Adresse Via giuseppe verdi 8 10124 Torino Voir sur la carte Type d’activité Higher or Secondary Education Establishments projects.administrative_contact Raffaela Iacomini (Dr.) Liens Contacter l’organisation Opens in new window Site web Opens in new window UNIVERSITEIT UTRECHT Pays-Bas Contribution de l’UE € 165 230,00 Adresse Heidelberglaan 8 3584 CS Utrecht Voir sur la carte Type d’activité Higher or Secondary Education Establishments projects.administrative_contact Ralph Van Der Leij (Mr.) Liens Contacter l’organisation Opens in new window Site web Opens in new window The AIMS Trust Afrique du Sud Contribution de l’UE € 221 158,00 Adresse Melrose road 5 -8 7945 Cape town Voir sur la carte Type d’activité Higher or Secondary Education Establishments projects.administrative_contact Virgenia Davidson (Mrs.) Liens Contacter l’organisation Opens in new window Site web Opens in new window NORGES TEKNISK-NATURVITENSKAPELIGE UNIVERSITET NTNU Norvège Contribution de l’UE € 223 848,00 Adresse Hogskoleringen 1 7491 Trondheim Voir sur la carte Type d’activité Higher or Secondary Education Establishments projects.administrative_contact Birgit Pepin (Prof.) Liens Contacter l’organisation Opens in new window Site web Opens in new window UNIVERSITAET DUISBURG-ESSEN Allemagne Contribution de l’UE € 222 549,00 Adresse Universitatsstrasse 2 45141 Essen Voir sur la carte Type d’activité Higher or Secondary Education Establishments projects.administrative_contact Kirsten Gercek (Ms.) Liens Contacter l’organisation Opens in new window Site web Opens in new window
