Report on the construction of the theoretical model of SODIS

Deliverable will be in the form of a report describing the theoretical model of SODIS inactivation to include a dynamic model of predicting efficacy of SODIS under the influence of dose at different solar irradiance ranges, for pathogenic surrogate species. The model will include regrowth risks associated with SODIS. TRL 4 This is the output of Tasks 4.1.1, 4.1.2

Report on the health impact assessment of the product under field conditions

Deliverable in the form of a report describing health impact of the TJC on waterborne disease rates in the study area. (RCSI). TRL 9 This is an output of Tasks 2.3.1, 2.3.2

Influence of conflict, gender, and class relations.

Deliverable will be in the form of a written report synthesised from analysis of secondary source data describing the influence and effect of conflict, gender, and class relations on availability of water in the household within n the four case study areas This is an output of Task 5.1

Report on Toxicological evaluation of water treated in the new SODIS technolgies. (DCU) TRL 4 Task 4.5

Uptake and Negotiation of Solar Technologies

Deliverable in the form of a qualitative written report describing the outcome of, and feedback from, semi-structured interviews, focus groups and participant observation at critical interfaces of household or community uptake of solar technologies. This is an output of Tasks 5.4, 5.5

Baseline survey report

Deliverable in the form of a baseline survey report on social, political and economic context of water use, needs and vulnerability in the four specific communities. TRL N/A This is an output of Task 5.3

Report: Photocatalytic enhancement by doped TiO2 and Fe- complexes.

Deliverable in the form of a Report describing the effect of Photocatalytic enhancement by doped TiO2 and Fe- complexes on inactivation of target pathogens TRL 3 This is an output of Task 4.3.2

Report on the influence of chemical factors on SODIS inactivation

Deliverable in the form of a report on chemical enhancement of SODIS involving: 1. Naturally occurring groundwater constituents (photoactive NOM and Iron oxides) selected in Task 4.2, in order to generate photosensitized reactive oxygen species (ROS) to enhance bacterial solar disinfection. (EPFL, BU, URJC, CIEMAT-PSA, USC). 2. The influence of oxygen and H2O2 on SODIS. (CIEMAT-PSA, USC, EPFL). This will be investigated in its contribution of inactivating of microbial pathogens in water naturally containing Fe forms, under simulated and natural solar light. Finally, the use of homogenous catalysis has to be considered, given its significant efficiency even in low intensity light. TRL 2 This is an output of Tasks 4.2.1, 4.2.2, 4.3.1

Health impact assessment of the SODIS-Ceramic prototype with comparisons under field conditions

Deliverable in the form of a report on the results of the Health impact assessments of the SODIS-Ceramic prototype to be carried out in primary schools in Malawi (RCSI) TRL 7 This is an output of Tasks 3.3.1, 3.3.2, 3.3.3

Multi-level governance structures for water resource management

This will be in the form of a written report synthesising and comparing multi-level governance structures for water resource management in the four case study areas. This is an output of Task 5.2

Community Educational Programmes on Solar Technologies Uploaded

Deliverable in the form of a report including educational literature and media developed for Community Educational Programmes on Solar Technologies (NUIM). Samples will be uploaded to the website. This is an output of Tasks 5.5, 5.6

Open Data Research Pilot

Deliverable in the form of section of project website available and populated with non-commercially sensitive data from all websites.
