The City of Genoa will establish a new plastic collection at the city port in order to obtain sufficient volumens of material for producing plastic spoils for 3D printing. Three customized products will be produced to demonstrate the potential of recirculating the 3D printing material. (3.3.3)

The same applies to the public events.

Governance Models for Value Chain Based Partnerships: Governance models for partnerships for the four materials (M48)
SRH will conduct a Plastic Avoidance Event and an educational waste avoidance programme to significantly increase the awareness on plastic avoidance among citizens and pupils. The deliverable will include an evaluation of the implementation of the event, the programme and the activities to allow replication, and it will identify different strategies for citizen engagement (e.g. conduct interviews) in order to strengthen plastic waste separation and avoidance and consequently produce cleaner waste streams. Public events depend on COVID-19 and may be postponed or modified. Educational waste avoidance programme in the city district Osdorfer Born by involving various local stakeholders is planned for a roll-out in the new school year starting on 6 Aug 2020 [M48].
The City of Genoa will investigate new technological ways of using biomass. This report summarises the findings. (task 6.3)
Policy advice for value chain based partnerships: Specific recommendations for CPH, HAM, LIS, CDG for maintaining and anchoring partnerships in local policy frameworks (M30)
