Deliverables

Multidimensional report about stakeholder analysis

A constant and detailed monitoring and evaluating service will be produced in all the project life cycle through the use of an ethnographical approach supported by scientific methodologies and validated psycho-sociometric tools.

Report on pilot study of designed activities and educational material for CoPs

Describes the objectives achieved and the work carried out during the pilot study of the designed activities and educational material for UMI-Sci-Ed CoPs as well as data collection and analysis of the conducted pilot study.

Evaluation concept-framework and piloting

A report including quantitative and qualitative information in view of the establishment of a procedure to validate framework’s components.

Protocol for the establishment of collaborations and linking to the market

Defines the business model for the umbrella organisation and local branches

System requirements, architectural design and final outcomes report

Final report that will be provided after the evaluation of the final version of the system and will include the final outcomes and results from the use of the system.

Report on dissemination activities and on UMI-Sci-Ed scientific exploitable results of the 1st period

This deliverable reports all the dissemination and outreach activities and includes project exploitable results and their managers at the conclusion during the 1st period of the project

Final report on pilot evaluation with emphasis on issues and recommendations for sustainability

Final report that will be provided after the evaluation of the carried out broader pilots and will include recommendations for sustainability.

Report on carried out preliminary activities

This deliverable reports all the preliminary activities carried out during the 1st year of the project such as the definition research sample, the schedule composition and the infrastructure specification

Analysis of the needs, practices and values

In order to put into practice an innovative system to support science education: a manual addressing best practices for multi stakeholders (e.g., schools, counsellors).

Report on evaluation of local pilots

Report that will be provided after the evaluation of the carried out local pilots and will include the outcomes and results.

Analysis of the empirical data

A report that makes available to all stakeholders the results of the lessons-learnt from the large-scale longitudinal evaluation and provides the unified framework with practical (e.g., best practices) and technical (e.g., guidelines) evidence-based knowledge.

Report on design and development of UMI-Sci-Ed CoPs methodology

Describes the life cycle, structure, learning outcomes and research tools used for establishing CoPs in UMI-Sci-Ed learning networks in STEM settings for 14-16 youngsters.

Final report on dissemination activities and on UMI-Sci-Ed scientific exploitable results

Summarises all the dissemination and outreach activities, the achieved impact, the scientific exploitable results and their managers during the project

Report on side events and on Launch and Development of UMI-Sci –Ed CoPs

Reports all the short events that took place, demonstrating the applicability of UMI-Sci-Ed. Furthermore, it describes the objectives achieved and the work carried out during the main phase of launching and developing CoPs with the designed educational material, the technological and research tools used for UMI-Sci–Ed CoPs as well as data collection and analysis of the conducted research.

Report on the validation of the educational material

Detailed description of the essential mechanisms for the validation of educational material and implementation in STEM disciplines using UMI technologies.

Initial educational material

The educational material and the instructional design tools for using CoPs in STEM settings and UMI technologies.

UDOO-EDU kits

The deliverable is carried out in two phases. The first phase includes a set of 12 h/w kits that will be distributed to the partners for the design and testing of the solution. The kits will be accompanied with an initial version of the programming environment. The second phase includes the total amount of h/w kits that will cover the project needs. The kits will be accompanied with the final version of the programming environment. The programming environment will integrate the best practices related to open source components such as Scratch or App Inventor 2 to drive the students from block based programming to text based programming and interoperability with the network and smartphones in general.

Intermediate version of the system

Release of the 1st (intermediate) version of the platform with all the basic functionalities and services that will allow the use of the platform for educational purposes.

Foundation of an umbrella organisation

Acting as a coordinator in a European level to align and standardise activities and support further development.

Final version of the system

Release of the 2nd (final) version of the platform that will support all the work package objectives. Proper modifications according to the cycles of the design phase will be implemented and will be released to the users.

Data Management Plan

Describes the standards that will be adopted and the procedures that will be applied on the data management during the pilots. Furthermore, it details on the data collection/generation, exploitation, sharing and preservation.
