The first phase includes a set of 12 h/w kits that will be distributed to the partners for the design and testing of the solution. The kits will be accompanied with an initial version of the programming environment. The second phase includes the total amount of h/w kits that will cover the project needs. The kits will be accompanied with the final version of the programming environment. The programming environment will integrate the best practices related to open source components such as Scratch or App Inventor 2 to drive the students from block based programming to text based programming and interoperability with the network and smartphones in general.
