Objective

Working on laboratory castings on the one hand, and large industrial castings on the other, the proposed research programme aims to : - obtain the metallurgical knowledge necessary for the industrial development of the steel type 9Cr - 1, Mo, Nb, V, N, both for its manufacture and its use; - conduct experiments on an industrial level to determine the feasibility of manufacturing components of medium and large thickness (250/300mm).
