Systematic data exchange approach for energy performance

Systematic data exchange approach for energy performance Practical goals: People share same definitions and representations for energy related data to promote data exchange and data use between storages and devices. e.g. the air flow as physical quantity a mean of energy use must be described (measurement, units, accuracy) in the same way in all applications. Other examples are temperature differences, local outside temperature and water flow. Expected results: Framework for a vocabulary of definitions and representations of all physical quantities applied in MOBISTYLE. The result could be a basis European or national institutions for standardization as CEN. Software module and mobile app the MOBISTYLE Expert tool (Leader DMO). Success criteria: Reaching consensus and compromises among stakeholders on definitions of the physical quantities of the (partial) energy flows and other energy related data. Targeted TRL: Development and testing at TRL7; further development and implementation TRL8

Inventory of supplied data
Detailed final monitoring, awareness and information campaigns for the five cases
Developed indicators based on environmental conditions
Applicable platform and database for software and information interoperability

Applicable platform and database for software and information interoperability Practical goals: Enhanced IT solutions —comprising a platform, a database, and the necessary interfaces— to facilitate the integration and interoperability between different types of software tools and mobile apps for measurement, assessment, monitoring and simulation of building condition, energy performance and user behaviours. Expected results: An integration and interoperability platform as an exploitable result from the project; a user-interface to allow building occupants, facility managers and other stakeholders to operate the software tools through their mobile devices; flexible interfaces with databases, Building Information Model (BIM), and Enterprise Resource Planning software systems, and cloud/server components; and automated software testing protocols and tool. Success criteria: Interfaces iteratively designed by involving users in a participatory design process at all stages and will be assessed for usability and user experience; validated specification and design; successful technical and user testing; and accessible documentation comprising: system integration test, user documentation (User Guide), installation instructions, and acceptation test followed by software commissioning. Targeted TRL: Utilized s-o-t-a technologies at TRL 7; further development and testing at TRL 8; operable results at TRL 8+. The basic platform will be operational from month 12 (D4.2) the final platform will be delivered in month 42

Recommendation to implement the results in EP calculations
Applicable hardware and software solutions for sensing technologies

Applicable hardware and software solutions for sensing technologies - Practical goals: Real-time analysis of end-user behaviours, considering expressive and emotional qualities of human movement through multimodal, full-body, non-verbal, social signals. - Expected results: A set of hardware and software with flexible framework for occupancy and pose estimation of a person moving through indoor spaces, applicable to a variety of sensing configurations; algorithms for on-line affect, intent, interest and engagement estimation of a person moving through indoor spaces; and mobiles interfaces for positioning systems of visitors; for user interfaces and applications for mobile devices, NFC (Near Field Communication) will be used to establish radio communication between visitors, experts, and facility supervisors in order to create collective understanding. - Success criteria: Position and pose accuracy; affect, intent, interest, and engagement estimate accuracy, both in laboratory datasets and in the “wild”.

Software modules for user interfaces on mobile devices and wearables

Software modules for user on mobile devices. Practical goals: A particular focus will be on making innovative applications affordable, robust, inter-operable, and user-friendly. This project will lead to complementing the use of various instruments, easy operation by non-experts, along with cloud-computing for inter-operability of data models and software. Expected results: Software modules and mobile apps, namely the MOBISTYLE Dashboard (Leader HLX), the MOBISTYLE Game (Leader HighSkillz), the MOBISTYLE Office App (Leader HIA). Success criteria: The software module and mobile apps are intuitive for end-users; interfaces will be iteratively designed by involving users in a participatory design process at all stages and will be assessed for usability and user experience. Targeted TRL: Utilized s-o-t-a technologies at TRL 5; further development and testing at TRL 6; prototype results at TRL 7.

MOBISTYLE Things Connector

MOBISTYLE Things Connector Practical goals: customize, in together with Whirlpool product development team, the Holonix i-LiKe platform to manage the dataflows from smart home appliances, following their lifecycle and providing data to the MOBISTYLE Modular Information Services. Expected results: an easy and quick access to smart home appliances data flows and lifecycle information. Success criteria: acquisition of at least 3 data flows from 3 different home appliances types Targeted TRL: Development and testing at TRL7; further development and implementation TRL8

Operational MOBISTYLE Open Users Platform

Operational MOBISTYLE Open Users Platform Practical goals: develop the IT platform to embed users and behavioural information and to enable deployment of the integrated Mobistyle IT platform by providing safe access to the selected datasets without compromising personal data. Expected results: ad hoc system, able to acquire data from RE and things through MOBISTYLE information services and manage users behaviour information and run algorithms as planned in WP3. APis will be provided to give access to aggegated data to external developers, accordingly with secutiry and privacy constraints and to exploitation plans agreed in the consortium. A report on the platform definition and functionality will be released in M26 in the form of a progress report, while the first working version of the Operational MOBISTYLE Open Users Platform will be published at M36 and final functional solution by M40 integrating the feedbacks from users during the development process (D5.3, OTH, Platform, M40).  Targeted TRL: TRL7
