KONFIDO - Secure and Trusted Paradigm for Interoperable eHealth Services

Deliverables

Legal Assessment of KONFIDO Use Case Scenarios (Version 2)

This deliverable will be part of the overall KONFIDO use case scenario actions. A first version (to be delivered in M12) will analyse the legal and policy issues related to the use cases and essentially aim at providing legal assistance necessary to enable KONFIDO partners to carry out the use case scenarios in a legally compliant manner. The final version will take into account legal and policy developments during the KONFIDO action, evaluate the use cases a posteriori and update the legal assessment accordingly

Societal/Ethical Framework Definition (Version 1)

This deliverable will describe the ethical/societal framework within which KONFIDO implementations will be aligned with

Middle and end of the action

eHealth Acceptance Factors and KONFIDO Adaptation Strategy (Version 1)

Identification of key barriers and facilitators for eHealth solutions acceptance by conducting a pan-European survey and two end-user Workshops

eHealth Acceptance Factors and KONFIDO Adaptation Strategy (Version 2)

Identification of key barriers and facilitators for eHealth solutions acceptance by conducting a pan-European survey and two end-user Workshops

KONFIDO Legal and Policy Requirements (Version 1)

This deliverable will essentially consist of an up-to-date legal manual providing guidance for the processing of health-related data in the European Union, taking into account the implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (to be adopted in 2016) in the EU Member States and focusing in particular on legal and policy obstacles and solutions for the cross-border sharing of health-related data throughout the EU. A first version (to be delivered in M12) will be restricted to legal and policy issues which are directly relevant for KONFIDO and be conducted in parallel with the KONFIDO user requirements study (WP3). The final version will have a more general scope and be updated taking into account ongoing legal and policy developments

Use Cases Inventory and Scenarios for Pilot Studies

Pool of use cases related with digital security of health related data, highlighting challenges and open issues; in-depth analysis on the scenarios of the pilot studies that will be conducted

Gap Analysis for Interoperable Solutions at a Systemic Level

Identification of unmet needs and open issues concerning reference software frameworks (e.g. STORK, openNCP) and eHealth interoperability
