Project Website

A well-designed and highly functional website is critical to the success of NIGHTINGALE. We aim to have the NIGHTINGALE website up and running as soon as possible, but no later than 2 months. This wil maximise interaction between consortium members and R&D suppliers, stakeholders, media.

Dissemination of project results Phase 1

Since no preliminary results of the tender will be known at Month 9 yet, this deliverable encompasses the dissemination of the tender preparations so far

Promotional materials: brochures, leaflets, videos and follow-up on social media platforms

This deliverable contains all the promotional materials developed and used to disseminate the the NIGHTINGALE project with the aim of reaching all relevant potential R&D suppliers as well as all relevant stakeholders.

Market Consultation Documents (e.g., questionnaires, project presentations, etc.)

This deliverable is a package containing all relevant Market Consultation documents (e.g., questionnaires, project presentations, a summary of the meetings with R&D industry, etc.)

Ethical approvals for each clinical validation study in each center (M18, M29)

Ethical approvals for each clinical or technical validation in study participants healthy volunteers or patients will be collated and reported

Legal analysis document covering all legal aspects pertaining to the implementation of this PCP project

Report on Ethical Issues and results of 'Value Sensitive Design' sessions with stakeholders

This consists of a complete report on ethical issues and results of the ' Value-Sensitive - Design (VSD)' sessions executed with all stakeholders. More specifically, we will use the concept of VSD which consists of three elements: conceptual investigations, empirical studies and technical investigations, and the elements are employed in an iterative manner. Conceptual investigations consist of philosophical analysis of values relevant to the design. Empirical studies involve investigation of patient values and concerns as well as those of caregivers and informal carers throughout the project via focus group sessions with patients, informal carers and health care workers. A report of this method used and the information gathered during the project of all important stakeholders will be given.

Communication Strategy

This deliverable consists of a precise description of the communication strategy for the project, including social media strategy and the ways in which the various stakeholders will be reached and involved.

Technical validation framework (sequential framework of how solutions will be validated in each particular phase)

In this document the process for validation of the proposed solution designs (PCP Phase1), validation of prototype systems originating from the procured R&D (PCP Phases 2 and 3) will be described in detail. It includes technical validation, bench testing, basic safety testing, validation in mobile healthy volunteers and testing of selected prototypes that have passed the initial test procedures in actual patients, both in the hospital environment (first stage) as well as after discharge to the home situation (phase 2).
