Guide book for face blasting design - The generalized rock mechanics guide for group faces blasting selection procedures, monitoring requirements and methods of testing for the effectiveness

This deliverable, a guide book, will present firing patterns for multi-face production blasting such that they increase the capability of inducing stress relief in the rock, manifested as a seismic event in the rock mass being mined.

First educational modules for students developed

This deliverable concerns demonsatrtion of VR/AR educational modules for selected topics directed at students and general public workers

VR/AR environment established

The aim of this deliverable is to establish and adapt the Virtual/Augmented Reality environment and corresponding stakeholder platform. The VR/AR environment will act as a both demonstration, training and a test facility for the partners, as well as a tool for outreach, communication and dissemination.

First training modules for operators/mine workers developed

This deliverable concerns demonstration of VR/AR training modules for selected applications suitable for operators and mine workers.

Meetings and forums with the general public and other stakeholders year 1

This deliverable involves meetings and forums with the general public and other stakeholders aiming at social license to operate and increased trust, understanding and acceptance of mining in Europe.

Dissemination of demonstrations year 1

This deliverable involves the dissemination of all tests and demonstrations from all WPs through appropriate channels and stakeholder platforms.

Established stakeholder platforms

This deliverable involves the establishment and operation of stakeholder platforms during the project time. The stakeholder platforms are for instance the project website (SIMS web), social media and web-based channels like LinkedIn and Youtube, the Stakeholder Forum, Local Reference Groups etc.

This deliverable involves the dissemination of all tests and demonstrations from all WPs through appropriate channels and stakeholder platforms.
