Summary of the context and overall objectives of the project

In 10 years, 65% of children will be doing jobs that have not been created yet.
Who would have thought that one day, one kid will developing his career as a youtuber… or as drone pilot? It was difficult to predict then, and it is tougher now.

How can we prepare our kids for a future that we do not know yet how it’s gonna be?

Although we don’t need to tell them WHAT to study, we should help them define HOW their learning could be. And it must be based on their own interests, it must be personalized.

In myABCKit we’re creating an app to potential on early stage education unique and meaningful learning experiences.

Knowing how to read and write is the most fundamental academic skill children need to master to become successful in school and in life. Access to proven literacy instruction are critical to narrowing the achievement gap in education to help children thrive.

myABCKit aspires to bring a solution to the education ecosystem through new ICT technologies that enable personalized and adaptive learning in the domain of language.

We aim to improve language learning experience of young children (from 3 to 7 years old) by fostering personalized learning that will make their learning fun and nurture bilingualism both in native language and in English.

Work performed from the beginning of the project to the end of the period covered by the report and main results achieved so far

During this months we have created an app for toddlers and young children that will help them acquire literacy through playing with relevant content at their own pace. Our goal is to make language learning simple, fun and natural in a personalized way for kids all over the world, and we already making it happen.

Progress beyond the state of the art and expected potential impact (including the socio-economic impact and the wider societal implications of the project so far)

With the support of the EC, during the last 6 months we have developed part of our product and we have proof and tested that kids and families love it. This has give us proof that we have a leading language learning method.

We like to offer to children equal opportunities to get a great education, one that will help them think and define success in on their own terms, and give them the opportunity to cut the gap in multiple generations.
