Communication toolkit consisting of brochure, roll up poster, one page project description and project presentation in PowerPoint will be designed at the early stage (M6) of the project to support partners during dissemination events.
Best practices handbook and instruction manual for the guided realization, monitoring, maintenance and adaption of the façade energy harvesting modules in a full renovation conceptA best practices handbook and instruction manual for the guided realization and adaption of the façade energy harvesting modules in a full renovation concept will be developed in this task defining maximum size and weight of the modules, the mounting and anchorage systems and the mitigation risk strategies to solve possible common problems.
Lessons learnt through the ENVISION energy harvesting retrofitting project execution: test site data collection and consolidation summary - public summaryPublic summary of D57 lessons learnt through the ENVISION energy harvesting retrofitting project execution test site data collection and consolidation summary
Communication and Dissemination PlanCommunication and Dissemination Plan will be produced at the beginning of the project (M6). The deliverable will contain, the target groups, the target audiences, key messages, the communication channels, tools, the specific actions and timelines for ENVISION project. This to enable exploitation of project results. The plan will be updated on a yearly basis, and will include a report on activities performed as well as provide an overview of activities foreseen for the next period.
KPIs plan for the monitoring and assessment of the technologies at demo sites levelsDevelopment of a methodology for the evaluation of the three demonstrators (UGT,VST,NSG), essential to foster transfer and replication in different European regions. A generic monitoring methodology will be developed applicable for both demonstrators to assess the performances (based on DAP expertise). The methodology will be based on measurements and monitoring protocols developed according to tailored Key Performance Indicators (KPI), clustered in four main categories: technical, economic, environmental and social indicators. To be comprehensive and effective, the methodology will include a list of generic KPIs, an analysis of the concept of each demonstrator, the identification of the baseline situation, the identification of a list of KPIs specific for the single demo as well as the definition of common conventions for calculation of specific KPIs. This deliverable will include the demonstration in Delft - Vestia, in Genoa - UGT, and in Austria - NSG
Methodology for energy efficiency assessment of the ENVISION technologies - public summaryPublic summary of D53 methodology for energy efficiency assessment of the ENVISION technologies
Reports of field implementation at demo casesThe aim is to demonstrate and validate the ENVISION technologies through a 3-step process. Starting from the validation of the products at lab scale (TRL 5) and the demonstration in relevant environment (TRL 6) performed in WP2 and WP3 respectively, ENVISION technologies will be tested in two kinds of building (detached house and block of flats) to improve their TRL up to 7 in a largest size test bench in operational environment (both at building and district level) according to the project roadmap. Status of field implementation at demo cases will be reported
District Simulation platform description and validation through TRL 6 testThe modelling at the scale of the district requires specific adaptations for the interaction of local building modelled in T4.1. The local microclimate has to be accurately considered. Automatic model generation (i.e. from CityGML) and reduction approaches will be experimented with, in order to minimize the modelling efforts associated with the large number of buildings that will be simulated. Finally, as the project integrates technical solutions that combine, insulation and energy harvesting functions and energy exchange between the buildings and existing District Heating Network or National grid, it is necessary to evaluate the contribution of each energy harvesting components to the overall performance.
Baseline reports of pre-renovation condition of demonstration caseMonitoring methodology and KPIs for the performance evaluation of the three demonstration sites will be specifically identified, according to local conditions, local specific pilot needs and current monitored data. This deliverable will include the demonstration in Delft - Vestia, in Genoa - UGT, in Austria - NSG
Building Simulation platform description and validation through TRL 6 testMost of the modelling elements that are necessary for evaluating the developed systems are already existing from previous research experiences of EDF Nevertheless some new components energy harvesting faade ventilated glazing energy storage and energy management systems will be developed within the project based on the input of the ENVISION technology providers EMGTNOBGTNSGAN Automatic model generation ie from a BIM and reduction approaches will be experimented with in order to minimize the modelling efforts associated to the complexity of buildings shape materials etc UGTVST Finally as the project integrates technical solutions which combine insulation and energy harvesting functions it is necessary to evaluate the contribution of each function to the overall performance
Report on awareness campaignParticipation in regional national and international events conferences fairs workshops and seminars on energy efficiency sustainable development smart energy systems district heatingcooling will be used to promote the ENVISION results as well as cluster activities enhancing the sharing experience with other H2020 projects Project publications are planned in the thematic portals eg BuildUp industry magazines scientific peerreviewed journals and others eg Projects magazine Horizon 2020 Projects Horizon The EU Research and Innovation magazine
Energy Storage for Optimal Energy Harvesting Exploitation- public summaryPublic summary of D47 describing small scale electrical and thermal storage used in the renovation concept to enhance its potential Different technologies for electrical and thermal storages will be analyzed to find the best solution for integration of the investigated harvesting technologies with DH and grid operationThis analysis will be performed both at district and building level to study the most suitable size and storage technology for both situations considering the interaction with existing energy systems and stakeholders
