Policy briefs addressing the policy-oriented findings of the project in the WPs in the national languages of countries covered by the project will be distributed via press conferences.

Photovoice & Documentary film (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)

Drawing from the photovoice materials created by refugees, but also engaging the services of a professional director, a documentary film shedding light on the impacts of the recent mass migration on different actors will be created and made publicly available on the project’s website and via other social media channels. The same documentary will also be screened in the planned art exhibitions.

Guidelines for the analysis of legal-policy documents, the constitutional and legal structure of countries, their compliance with international treaties, of the crisis-driven reforms, and of relevant case-law.

Comparative report on migration governance (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)

Report, displaying both the main scientific findings and also the interconnectedness of different WPs through a comparative analysis. This report targets the scientific community and policy-makers. The first part will be designed to contribute to the theoretical developments and theory refinement of mass migration response policies at a conceptual and analytical level. The second part will display the findings of case-based, unit-based and theme-variable based comparative analysis.

This report will assess EU border management policies, including the external dimension.

This report will be based upon the comparative analysis of country reports.

Report on the conceptualization of values and principles as the basis of intra-European cooperation (and beyond) (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)

This report will be delivered by participants 12 (UCopenhagen) and 1 (UU) under the form of paper collections which will secondarily serve as the backbone for the policy recommendations report (D 3.4). Each collection of papers includes the following : a) Assess whether the principle of solidarity that forms the basis of the European Asylum System is appropriate to foster cooperativeness among MSs; b) Assess how a fair share distribution scheme of responsibility to protect refugees should be (re) formulated at the EU level and globally; c) Assess the desirable criteria and principles on which a legal framework may be based to foster cooperation between MSs and between Europe and other countries; and d) Explore current conceptions of justice pertaining to refugees and fairness between states regarding the responsibility to protect refugees.

Report on refugee protection regimes and best practices (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)

A report (prepared by UCopenhagen, UGOE, and UNIFI) on the conceptualization of the different refugee protection regimes of the targeted countries against the background of the principles set out in international treaties and norms as well as liberal democratic regimes. The report will provide a comprehensive assessment of fundamental principles informing best practices and policy recommendations. The field of ethics of migration is increasingly helpful to the (re)formulation of policy recommendations, best practices and general conceptualization of the debate on migration.

Prescriptive report on migration governance (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)

Report, spelling out the prescriptive findings for stakeholders, consisting of a critical assessment of existing policies and practices in a comparative mode, presenting policy recommendations and informing policy-makers for the development of migration governance within the EU and in its neighbourhood. The report will include the visualisation of the main findings in the form of tables, charts and graphs, and be disseminated to different stakeholders.

An ethical application will be handed in, describing the aims and methods used, as well as how the safety, confidentiality, and anonymity of the participating individuals will be ensured. (UU)

Country reports, including the analysis of the legal-policy migration governance framework of countries covered by the project and dataset comprising each country’s socio-economic, cultural, political indicators and individual perceptions for the period from 2011 to 2016.

Report, summarizing the main findings of the survey, consisting of an executive summary and statistical annex regarding forced migrants’ norms, values, attitudes, and the behaviours of forced migrants regarding the aforementioned thematic fields.

Comparative reports on different aspects of integration policies, practices and responses. The topics and responsible consortium partners are as follows: a. On “labour market integration”, “educational systems”, “citizenship policies”, “integration strategies” and “health care” – Participant 9 (UWarsaw). b. On “housing policies”, “public mental health promotion” and “psychosocial factors of integration” – Participant 1 (UU). c. This report will look at how refugees are impacted by border management policies and migration controls and how they experience these policies and respond to them.
