AfriCultuReS Use Cases Description

This dedicated document on capacity building will report the capacity building activities conducted in Mainstream and Social Media The goal will be to go beyond the normal press releases and work with these communicators to build understanding of the project and its goals and thus to enrol an additional cadre of people who can reach additional audiences for this project through their work Activities conducted towards this end will be reported including web pages within the project website blogs press releases videos and briefingsA draft version del ID D56d will be delivered due M54 for early assessment

Data procurement plan

The report will detail remote sensing and other data availability focusing on panAfrican products as well as others for providing detailed information at national scales It will also detail the data to be exploited not only with the purpose of generating the AfriCultuReS products but for validation purposes eg very high resolution imagery for validation purposes

Marketing toolkit on EO for agricultural monitoring

The marketing toolkit gives a short introduction into the potential of EO applications for agricultural monitoring it will comprise the following elements PowerPoint presentations Success stories on agricultural monitoring and food security Web based information Multimedia output Printed material A brokerage facility

Development and Integration of AfriCultuReS Service Platform Components
