Project description DEENESFRITPL Restoring data on mobile devices Technological advances have made it possible for us to communicate, work and pay our bills with our smart phones and tablets. However, an unexpected loss of data and an erroneous deletion can become disastrous. Existing solutions to restore lost records require following time-consuming procedures on a personal computer. In this context, the EU-funded Cloud Recovery project will provide another solution. It aims to bring substantial support to all users bringing to the market the first cloud-based, European-made data recovery and restoration of deleted smart-device files. It will create a ground-breaking mobile website enabling a Software-as-a-Service-based easy recovery procedure in few minutes, with no need for a desktop computer. Show the project objective Hide the project objective Objective People lose data and cannot get it back; people also want to ensure data is deleted permanently (erased). Wehave achieved proof of concept for an innovative solution to recover deleted items from smartphones andtablets. Cloud Recovery is the only customer data restoration solution from Europe; the others are from China, India and theUS, but all of these solutions require a PC. Our project aim is topush the boundaries, and deliver a truly market disruptive SaaS (Software as a Service) data recovery solutionthat is solely cloud-based (where more data is stored), with data recovered and restored within 10 minutes, without the needfor a PC or Mac.
