Videos demonstrating the unified series of protocols produced by the working group of Task 32 Two videos will be produced demonstrating practically the unified protocols generated for each of the two modules soil underground and aboveground biodiversity as these two modules require distinct protocols for sample collection and processing

Modularbased protocol package for island biodiversity analysis presented in a scientific publication Task 32 will define a set of complementary genomicbased protocols designed to function as a multitool for biodiversity measurement and monitoring needs in the varied and complex island ecosystems and habitats of the EU While the focus of iBioGen is islands such protocols will be of more general interest for nonisland study systems The protocols will be published in a relevant methodological scientific journal eg Molecular Ecology Resources

Publication of symposium output presented as a Forum Opinion or Point of View in scientific journals such as Trends in Ecology and Evolution Molecular Ecology Journal of BiogeographyThis publication will be accompanied by an online report on the identification of key challenges for Task 32 resulting from the workshop under Task 31 setting out key island biodiversity measurement and monitoring challenges to be addressed These challenges will be published on the iBioGen website to encourage external interest in the subsequent working group of Task 32

R Package for the study of island biodiversity dynamics from genomic data We will make our implementations of tools for the study of island biodiversity dynamics from genomic data publicly available in an Rpackage called iBioGen This will greatly enhance the international visibility of the project
