Project description
An innovative online customisable recruiting process
Enterprises and public institutions worldwide seek to shorten their recruiting process, reduce costs and find the ideal candidate. However, available solutions in the marketplace don’t meet these needs. The EU-funded SmartHire project will mature, demonstrate and scale up the PeerPilot platform. PeerPilot is a scalable, automated, highly customisable, efficient, and cost-competitive solution that conducts online case competitions. The case competition includes 4 phases: briefing, brainstorming, solution building and evaluation. The evaluation phase assesses the candidates considering impact, engagement, and collaboration and delivers a comprehensive and highly customizable evaluation report to support the manager in the recruiting process. The project will prepare the platform for international commercialisation.
Objective
SmartHire will mature, demonstrate and scale-up the PeerPilot platform, a talent assessment system to support talent acquisition in enterprises and public institutions worldwide, which are presently looking to shorten their recruiting process, bring down the cost of said process and at the same time secure top talent and a good candidate job fit. However, these needs are scarcely met by the available solutions in the marketplace. PeerPilot aims to accommodate these needs by introducing a scalable, automated, highly customizable, efficient and cost competitive solution. PeerPilot is a SaaS platform, which conducts online case-competitions. These can be pre-defined or customized for each client.
The case competition includes 4 phases: Briefing (introduction to case), brainstorming (building ideas with the other participants), solution building (co-creating solutions with other candidates) and evaluation (of the candidates). The evaluation phase evaluates the candidates based on 3 key variables: Impact (on the results), engagement (with the other participants) and collaboration (with the other participants). Then a comprehensive and highly customizable evaluation report is produced to support the manager in the further recruiting process. PeerPilot is currently in beta version, but has been used in several trials having delivered excellent results.
PeerPilot Aps plans to commercialize the platform via direct and partner sales to the customers via a hybrid Saas licensing model. The solution is relevant to any hiring employer of medium to large size worldwide and the long-term plan is thus to commercialize PeerPilot globally. The SmartHire project will support the company in this endeavor by clarifying technical, legal and cultural challenges in the feasibility report. Five years after the innovation project, we expect accumulated revenues and profits of EUR 51 and EUR 35 million respectively and to employ 67 employees.
