Description du projet

Science et patrimoine culturel en Croatie

Le projet TPTF_ERN, financé par l’UE, permettra au public de mieux comprendre ce que signifient aujourd’hui la science et l’innovation. Coordonné par le ministère croate des sciences et de l’enseignement, le projet organisera des Nuits des chercheurs en 2018 et 2019 à Zagreb, Rijeka, Split, Zadar et Dubrovnik, tandis que Pula et Osijek accueilleront une Nuit des chercheurs axée sur le patrimoine culturel, respectivement en 2018 et 2019. Le projet cherchera à promouvoir la science et mettra les scientifiques en relation avec la société en vue de stimuler l’intérêt du public pour les politiques nationales et européennes dans le domaine de la recherche et de le sensibiliser au rôle de la science et à l’importance des investissements lui étant consacrés. TPTF_ERN accordera une attention particulière à la jeune génération afin de stimuler son intérêt pour les carrières scientifiques.

Objectif

Science, research and innovation should be and through history they have been a drive of social and economic progress. Today more than ever our society is driven by scientific discoveries, innovation, and technology development. We cannot imagine our lives without privileges of modern society which were enabled by some of greatest researchers and innovators of 19th and 20th century. At the verge of fourth industrial revolution we should not forget our heritage and debt we have towards innovators such as Nikola Tesla – one of the fathers of second industrial revolution or researchers such as Marie Marie Skłodowska-Curie. Goal of this project Techno-Past-Techno-Future: European Researchers’ Night (TPTF-ERN) is complementary to the common main objective of European Researchers’ Night as it aims at deepening the understanding on what science and innovation represent. Researchers should be viewed as artists in their own way as their work is a way of expressing their creativity and originality. Their work changes the way we look at the world.
