SENSors and certifiable hybrid architectures FOR safer aviation in ICing Environment

Livrables

Sensor evaluation results and final roadmaps for future technology development and exploitation

The aim of this deliverable is to collect the results of the analysis and the sensors developers and associated roadmaps. All sensors will be individually evaluated with regard to the results of icing wind tunnel tests and flight test; the latter in case the sensor technology was selected for the airborne demonstration or hybridisation. The definition of distinct steps for further maturation will provide a roadmap for future exploitation of the technology. The sensor technologies which did not meet the performance requirements from both gates in Task 1.3 will be evaluated.Each evaluation should include an analysis of what challenges remaining for the technology and provide a path for future development.

Dissemination Action Plan and updates

Plan for communication and dissemination activities of the consortium: identification of targeted audiences, relevant messages, appropriate tools and channels. The plan will be updated on a yearly basis.

Final report on evaluation of technologies developed in SENS4ICE and technical project results

Final report of the project, including an extensive summary of the work performed by all partners and contributors, the project’s technical achievements, the knowledge gained, status of the dissemination activities at project end, as well as the outlook beyond the SENS4ICE project.

Final report on airborne demonstration and atmospheric characterisation

Final report on a) the airborne demonstration of the various sensor technologies developed in SENS4ICE and tested in flight as well as b) the atmosphere characterization in and around SLD conditions. In both a) and b) the status reported includes the post-flight data analysis of the results.

Final report on hybrid ice detection development

The results of the flight tests are further compared to prior system-level testing activities. The purpose of this deliverable is to conclude on the performance of the system compared to the expressed requirements.

Dissemination set (website, social media, newsletter, leaflet, roll-up banner)

Deliverable describing preparation and distribution channels of the SENS4ICE dissemination set composed of: public website, social media account, 6 monthly public newsletters, leaflet and roll-up banner.
