Project description
E-commerce that helps small companies compete
E-commerce has skyrocketed during the course of the pandemic, yet it can be difficult for smaller players to compete against global industry giants. Conventional digital advertising models require a pay-per-view structure rather than payment based on the sales transactions generated. The Czech SME Humainn – Human Machine Innovations plans to level the playing field by creating an open ecosystem for the e-commerce cyberspace that will connect businesses and help them share their vertical markets, or groups of companies focused on their specific segment, to enrich entire value chains. The EU-funded HuMaInn DataMall project is helping them pave the way to bring their cloud-based platform to the e-commerce market.
Objective
Executive Summary
Data age is here. Every human endeavor is generating data and is influenced by various data inputs. Actual market state of data sources today is “closed, fragmented, private and non-structured”.
At HuMaInn, we are committed to make a difference & disrupt this market - we make innovations for People through technology: Human Machine Innovations. We challenge the Digital Advertising paradigm of ineffective business models where companies are charged per view and not per sales transactions. We connect businesses and let them share their verticals to enrich entire value chains.
Our technology is based on Open Source and running in Cloud. Its scalability is simplified due to digital platform-based business model, thus entering into new segments and geographic markets is a matter of marginal costs. We are committed to build an open ecosystem for the eCommerce cyberspace, enabling small companies to compete fairly with big players, by building on microsegment anonymized information/data to offer the best possible and relevant offers. We are one of the revolutionary solutions that will impact Digital Economy agenda, via instant understanding of customer behavior. Our algorithm is constantly improved via Machine Learning, with each new transaction and each new segment, the data validity growth exponentially. Our commercial pilot is running as you read this proposal, adding results to the vast database of customers journeys.
