Summary of the context and overall objectives of the project

The overall objectives of the NORIMS project in 2019 was to deliver Key Account Management (KAM) services for the Norwegian SME beneficiaries of the SME Instrument, Fast Track to Innovation (FTI) and FET-Open under H2020.

Work performed from the beginning of the project to the end of the period covered by the report and main results achieved so far

The Key account management (KAM) services for the SME beneficiaries of the SME Instrument, Fast Track to Innovation (FTI) and FET-Open under H2020 was in 2019 delivered to all Norwegian SME beneficiaries of the three schemes. In 2019 70 Norwegian SME beneficiaries received KAM services in Norway. 33 of these cases were completed and closed during the year. 27 were started in 2018 (but not closed) and 7 was started and closed during the project year. 34 cases were started in 2018 and 2019 but not finalized during the project period.

Progress beyond the state of the art and expected potential impact (including the socio-economic impact and the wider societal implications of the project so far)

The SME Instrument/EIC Accelerator and the following KAM services have significantly enhanced the growth and profitability of Norwegian clients. Especially the SME Instrument/EIC Accelerator has proven valuable for Norwegian SMEs.
