Minutes of the kick-off, first project management meeting

In this deliverable the minutes of the SMAGRINET consortium kick-off meeting will be provided. It contains the main discussion points and decisions made. The D1.1 will be provided by the project coordinator TalTech and is realated to the T1.1 Project Management.

Short-term programmes

Additionally to the modules there will be capacity building programmes developed under the T4.1 Development of 3 short-term blended learning programmes that enable to respond to the urgent challenges rapidly. This will be done under the T4.1 Development of 3 short-term blended learning programmes. D4.1 reports about the developed short term programmes targeting a) electrical engineering workforce from industry; b) researchers; c) broader public.

Minutes of the first Advisory Board workshop

D1.4 is related to the T1.3 Advisory Board (AB) formation and operation. During the first Advisory Board workshop (M3) the Advisory Board is expected to provide recommendations on the networking (WP2) and content of the capacity building activities (WP3 modules development and WP 4 short-term programmes. D1.4 is about the Advisory Board meeting of the SMAGRINET project. It includes the minutes of the first Advisory Board workshop (M3) - main discussion points and results of the meeting. The deliverable will be provided by the project coordinator TalTech.

Minutes of the third Advisory Board workshop

D16 is related to the T13 Advisory Board AB formation and operation and is about the third Advisory Board meeting of the SMAGRINET project It includes the minutes of the third Advisory Board workshop M35 main discussion points and results of the meeting The deliverable will be provided by the project coordinator TalTech The third AB workshop M35 is about analyses the outputs and impacts of the project The deliverable will be provided by the project coordinator TalTech

3 challenge and case-based modules

T3.1. Development of 3 challenge and case-based modules will develop as set of 3 challenge and case-based master level (MA, MSc or ME) modules (each 3 EAP) ending with a simulation session for electrical engineering students with focus on the smart grid engineering for responding to emerging operational problems. The D3.1 reports in the modules developed.

Minutes of the second Advisory Board workshop

D1.5 is related to the T1.3 Advisory Board (AB) formation and operation and is about the second Advisory Board meeting of the SMAGRINET project. It includes the minutes of the second Advisory Board workshop (M17) - main discussion points and results of the meeting. The deliverable will be provided by the project coordinator TalTech. The second AB workshop (M17) is about introducing the evaluation results of the pilots to the AB members and discussing how to adjust the programmes (WP3 and WP4) based on the evaluation recommendations; analysing the draft of the deployment package and roadmap for replication as well as ideas for the train-the trainers´ pilot for AB feedback and suggestions; supporting the consortium in finding further organizations interested to take up the capacity building programmes.

Minutes of the second project management meeting

In this deliverable the minutes of the second SMAGRINET consortium meeting will be provided. It contains the main discussion points and decisions made. The D1.2 will be provided by the project coordinator TalTech as part of the T1.1 Project Management.

In this deliverable the minutes of the second SMAGRINET consortium meeting will be provided It contains the main discussion points and decisions made The D13 will be provided by the project coordinator TalTech as part of the T11 Project Management

First annual conference

The annual conferences described in T6.5. Annual conferences will be one of the main events of the project acting as a large-scale informing and awareness raising event, where the main findings of the project will be shared with a large multidisciplinary audience. D6.7 First annual conference gives an overview about the organization and content of the SMAGRINET first annual conference.

Modules´pilot report (2)

T32 Piloting of the developed modules during the first academic year the modules are taught by the leading experts of the consortium who are going to rotate between the 6 consortium universities During the second academic yearphase the modules are taught by local teaching staff from the consortium universities under supervision of the leading experts The D33 being related also to the D33 summarises the progress made during the second academic year of piloting the modules

Modules´ pilot evaluation and updated modules (1)

The evaluation of the pilots and adjustment of the modules has accrding to the T3.4 Evaluation of the pilots and adjustment of the modules two phases and follows the logic of the academic years. Evaluation of the modules (WP3) and short-term programmes (WP4) is done within the same period of time. First phase (M15-M20): partly in parallel and after the implementation of the modules during the first academic year of the SMAGRINET project and before entering the second cycle, evaluation and adjustment of the programmes will be done by M20. D3.6 Modules´ pilot evaluation and updated modules (1) brings out the evaluation results.

As part of the T6.4 Dissemination and communication activities in D6.5 LOBA as the dissemination and communication leader will provide an overview of the communication activities of the project from M1-15.

3 shortterm programmes will be piloted under the T42 Piloting of the programmes in all participating consortium countries at least once per academic year The D42 Shortterm programmes pilot report 1 summarises the results of the first round of piloting

Matrix of challenges and cases

T2.3 Creating of matrix of challenges/cases identifies the real-life challenges that the smart grid engineering area faces that build a basis for the capacity building modules and programmes (WP3, WP4). By M5 a matrix will be provided. The D2.3 is about the results of this task.

Train-the-trainers´ pilot report

D54 is based on the T53 Implementation of trainthetrainers pilot The first phase M9M20 of the project is to implement the modules and programmes within the consortium universities and benefit from the facetoface classes by the leading experts The second phase M2129 is for the local experts from the consortium universities and beyond to take over the teaching in further countries Therefore between the two academic years a trainthetrainers pilot will be implemented that aims to create common understanding on the modules and programmes to support their uptake D54 Trainthetrainers pilot report is about the results of the 2days workshop for the trainers

Deployment package

Deployment package includes online methodological manuals for the trainers to support the uptake of the capacity building programmes. 4 manuals will be developed based on the teaching materials developed under the T3.1 and T4.1. These manuals will be available as online resources that makes them widely and easily accessible. The manuals will be presented at the train-the trainers´ workshop T5.3 that aims create common understanding on implementing the modules (WP3) and programmes (WP4). D5.3 reports on the results of this task.

Short-term programmes´ evaluation and updated programmes (2)

Based on the T43 Evaluation of the pilots and adjustment of the programmes the D45 Shortterm programmes evaluation and updated programmes 2 will be compiled The evaluation of the pilots and adjustment of the programmes has two phases and the report summarises the results of the second phase

International mobility report (1)

T33 includes international mobility to the entreprises that is complementary to the modules and will be implemented in parallel with the piloting of the set of modules and simulations Annually in parallel with 2 piloting phases of the modules from each consortium university for 5 students scholarships will be provided for international mobility D34 International mobility report 1 is about the results of the first round of the mobility to the entreprisesDue to the COVID situation this specific task will be executed in parallel with the second mobility program taking advantage of the moment of low COVID numbers if such a situation arises

T3.2 Piloting of the developed modules - during the first academic year the modules are taught by the leading experts of the consortium who are going to rotate between the 6 consortium universities. The D3.2 summarises the progress made during the first academic year of piloting the modules.

Needs, capacities and resource base mapping report

The D2.2 is about reporting of the results of the T2.2 Pooling of needs, capacities and resource base: mapping of the current practices, validating the skills, competences and research and innovation needs to meet the indusrty needs, validating the needs for training the trainers.

Final deployment plan and roadmap for replication

Based on the T51 Deployment plan and roadmap for replication the D52 Final deployment plan and roadmap for replication will be launched To assure the replicability of the project results and concretise the value of the project a deployment plan and roadmap for replicability will be proposed The plan and roadmap include concrete actions to achieve the multiplier effect enlarge the network of organizations interested in implementing the capacity building programmes D52 Final version of the deployment plan and roadmap for replication will be provided by the M27 taking into consideration the D51 Initial deployment plan and roadmap for replication

The evaluation of the pilots and adjustment of the modules has accrding to the T34 Evaluation of the pilots and adjustment of the modules two phases and follows the logic of the academic years Evaluation of the modules WP3 and shortterm programmes WP4 is done within the same period of time Second phase M21M30 As the modules will be implemented also during the second academic year final evaluation will be done in parallel by M36 The same methodology will be followed also in the first phase but the D37 report compares both phases of the modules implementation and summarises the final results Compared to first evaluation round minor changes are to be implemented to the programmes D37 Modules pilot evaluation and updated modules 2 brings out the evaluation results

Report on the network building and experience exchange activities

The stakeholders mapped under T21 will be engaged to the SMAGRINET project activities throughout the project After giving input to the T22 and T23 they will be engaged to the further network building and experience exchange activities also the activities are aimed at enlarging the network constantly D24 Report on the network building and experience exchange activities summarises the results of this task

Short-term programmes´ evaluation and updated programmes (1)

Based on the T43 Evaluation of the pilots and adjustment of the programmes the D44 Shortterm programmes evaluation and updated programmes 1 will be compiled The evaluation of the pilots and adjustment of the programmes has two phases and the report summarises the results of the first phase The evaluation that will be done after the implementation of the shortterm programmes during the first academic year aiming to adjust the programmes before the second phase begins

Second annual conference

The annual conferences described in T65 Annual conferences will be one of the main events of the project acting as a largescale informing and awareness raising event where the main findings of the project will be shared with a large multidisciplinary audience There will be 2 annual conferences D68 Second annual conference gives an overview about the organization and content of the SMAGRINET conference organized at the end of the project M36

Initial deployment plan and roadmap for replication

Based on the T5.1 Deployment plan and roadmap for replication the D5.1 First version of the deployment plan and roadmap for replication will be launched. To assure the replicability of the project results and concretise the value of the project, a deployment plan and roadmap for replicability will be proposed. The plan and roadmap include concrete actions to achieve the multiplier effect, enlarge the network of organizations interested in implementing the capacity building programmes. First version of the deployment plan and roadmap for replication will be provided by the M12.

Project’s Branding and Stationary

T6.2 Visual development and supporting material focuses on the development of a strong brand and all the material necessary for an efficient communication and dissemination of the project. In D6.3 Project’s Branding and Stationary an overview will be given on these activities.
