Intercultural Digital Media Education for Social Inclusion of Socioeconomically Disadvantaged Youth in the Urban Migration Society

Project description

Social inclusion of disadvantaged youth

Disadvantaged youth from diverse cultural backgrounds have long suffered from social exclusion. The EU-funded programme INCLUDED aims to help integrate them by enhancing their digital literacy and intercultural competence. This innovative integrated approach aims to develop participatory action by designing and applying teaching modules for intercultural digital media education with a teacher. Much of the research has already been worked on with migrants. INCLUDED will be hosted by the University of Bremen and supervised by the Faculty of Pedagogy and Educational Sciences, a pioneer in intercultural education.
