Project description DEENESFRITPL Accelerating the use of Fotokite's situational intelligence in public safety operations The EU-funded FOTOKITE-SME-P1 project aims to provide firefighters with a significant tool for strengthening public safety in times of crisis – a Fotokite UAV system that can fly autonomously, and stream live thermal and high definition RGB video to firefighters on the ground to improve mission-critical situational awareness and support lifesaving operations. The main goal of the project is to bring public safety dedicated unmanned aerial vehicles to the next level in four emergency areas: scene monitoring, search and rescue, post-fire or disaster assessment, and wildland firefighting for more operational safety and improved response effectiveness to eliminate operational risks in lifesaving efforts. Show the project objective Hide the project objective Objective Fotokite is a breakthrough situational awareness solution whose unique characteristics constitute it as a valuable public safety tool for firefighters. Fotokite aims to ensure operational safety, increase response efficiency, decrease associated workload and operational risks, and help in life-saving efforts.
