Periodic Reporting for period 1 - PayLead (Smart Loyalty Program: Using Data Science to Inspire the Next Purchase)

This Phase 1 project was executed from June to September, 2019.

Feasibility study in this Phase 1 project aimed at completing the validation of:
- commercial viability with key stakeholders;
- financial strategy definition
- IPR strategy of our solution.

For the commercial feasibility, the detailed objectives of this Phase 1 project were the assessment of strategic alliances with our stakeholders, and the internationalization strategy.
The key objectives of the financial feasibility were to determine final operational cost estimations, revenue projections, and profitability roadmap, but also to refine the final business model and pricing strategy and sharpen the detailed business plan.
In terms of IPR and regulations, this Phase 1 project aimed at the validation of the IPR strategy and updated competitors analysis, and the confirmation of regulatory and technical setup for tokenized assets.
The qualitative survey interviews were conducted by Business Crescendo – a French consulting company specialized in strategy and market analysis and business development support.
The survey was addressed to 30 individual representatives of the companies which were in our initially defined target group.

Main results achieved :
First of all, the qualitative survey helps us to put into perspective customers' expectations from our domestic market with international customers' expectations. As a result, key market drivers were more precisely identified and it also helps us to determine both (i) critical factor of success, (ii) and potential barrier of entry for our solution in banking and retail.
Two analysis have been conducted in this Phase 1 project.

1/ First a PESTLE analysis, that highlights precisely all related Political, Economical, Social, Technological, Legal en Environmental factors.
2/ And a SWOT analysis, that precisely identifies PayLead's Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats.

Overall it results in a much more mature and global perception of our ecosystem, with a clear strategy on how to conduct next steps.
