Project description
The new dawn of social robots in hospitality
The presence of robots is growing within the hospitality industry as they can offer high-quality service and higher productivity levels. A prime example of this is MACCO, a multitasking kiosk robot barman designed by Macco Robotics that can assist staff at hotels, restaurants, bars and at other places. The robot provides fully autonomous operational assistance 24 hours, seven days a week, and it can also autonomously interact with clients. The EU-funded MACCO project is conducting a feasibility study on this innovation, designing the technical activities needed to reach TRL level 9. The project will also carry out full market research to identify its customers, market and competitors.
