The first foldable kid car seat to easy travel in family

Project description

Safe and innovative children’s car seats

Good news for parents driving with young children. Thanks to the EU-funded 4 ALL project, child safety experts of Nachfolger Gmbh will provide an innovative mobility product to make car trips safer, easier and more enjoyable. Their extremely durable child car seat is very light and also meets all the safety standards. With convenient side protection, it is easy to set up and fold away by transforming into hand luggage. It will be sold directly to users and through B2B customers like airlines or car-rental companies at competitive prices.

Objective

Millennials are now parents, they live in more crowded areas (55% of the world’s population lives in urban areas), and travel in family more (62% of them traveled with children under the age of 5). However, there is no portable, flexible, foldable, light and above all SAFE child car seat solution in the market to fulfill their mobility needs. We are Nachfolger, parents and experts in child safety, aware of the needs when travelling with children. We have developed 4ALL, a child car seat for all groups 1/2/3. Its foldable mechanism is based on side-air-suspension (SAS) system which consists of inflatable side elements made from DSF (an extremely robust and durable material) This combination of material and technology reduces 4ALL weight to only 5 kg, it means 50% lighter than standard seats in the market. Unlike most foldable solutions in the market, 4ALL has side protection, offering a German safety standard for children including: UN ECE R 44 and R 129 Certified plus good performance in ADAC/STIWA/ÖAMTC test, at a price that competes with standard solutions in the market. It is light-5kg-, flexible - can be easily carry out like a hand luggage-, and easy to install (only 2 minutes).
4ALL aims to facilitate families’ mobility and will be sold directly to end-users (B2C) at €299.95. Aditionally, we will also exploit a second market through B2B customers selling our seat at €189 to car-sharing platforms, airlines, taxis, or car rental companies. Taking advantage of the success product HY5 (13,000 sales the first year of commercialisation), we expect to duplicate with 4ALL our current sales each year reaching 90,000 units sold during the first 3 years of commercialisation, generating revenues of €16.9M by 2024, generating 10 new direct job positions. In fact, 4ALL will be the hallmark of our company, the leader global provider of innovative mobility products for modern parents.
