Report on institutional and environmental determinants of entrepreneurial management (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)

The objective of this task 1.2 is to study entrepreneurial management in universities, with particular reference to university-industry engagement, commercialization, and spin-off. More in detail, upon the literature reviews undertaken in task 1.1, this task will be focussed on investigating:a)The impacts of university collaborations and entrepreneurship engagement on firms’ innovation and entrepreneurial behaviours and the role of environmental and institutional forces in emerging economies;b)The combined role of environmental uncertainty and the set of institutional incentives and disincentives on university researcher’s decision-making process related to the creation of entrepreneurial spin-offsThe above investigations will be undertaken using quantitative methods. Preceded by the empirical model specifications, the identification of the candidate analyses methods and techniques as well as the specific analysis of the appropriate datasets to be used, such the one used in the studies of Petti et al. (2019) and Tang et al. (2019) or other that may be provided or suitable for the studies, will be done. These, together with the undertaking of the analyses, findings and their implications will be organized in thematic reports.The objective of task 1.3 is to study entrepreneurial management in start-ups and established firms. More in detail, upon the literature reviews undertaken in task 1.1, this task will be focussed on investigating:a)The environmental and institutional factors influencing start-ups performanceb)Human resource management practices, entrepreneurial orientation, and firms’ performanceThe above investigations will be undertaken using, respectively qualitative and quantitative methods. Preceded by the empirical model specifications, the identification of the candidate cases, analyses methods and techniques and the preliminary analysis of cases and specific datasets, the undertaking of these studies, and their implications will be organized in thematic reports.

The objective of this task is to trace the stateoftheart set the theoretical background ground and identify the hypothesespropositions for the quantitative and qualitative studies foreseen into the three lines of enquiries on which this WP is based More in detail the following topics will be surveyed and organized in focussed thematic literature reviews The institutionbased view in emerging economy business research university entrepreneurship and engagement entrepreneurial orientation and decisionmaking relationships between human resource management and entrepreneurial orientation relationships between strategies productivity innovation and firms performance in industrialized and newlyindustrializeding contexts relationships between institutional settings and firms performance

Identification of the agents of entrepreneurship, innovation and talent building (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)

This is a research report on the literature review carried out in the first stage of implementation of WP4 This corresponds with task 41 We will conduct a comprehensive and systematic review of the management and business history literature on collective entrepreneurship in both mature and emerging markets The aim is to establish a stateoftheart that will allow us to present proposals for future research on this issue based on a longterm comparative and interdisciplinary approach

Institutional and individual perspectives of sustainable entrepreneurship (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)

The second report will provide an understanding of the issues and challenges of sustainable entrepreneurship from the results and findings from the quantitative empirical study. The report will deal with the present situation as well as provide scenarios of potential future research directions as well as opportunities and challenges for entrepreneurs working actively with sustainability issues.

Exploration of effects by AMOoriented practices on firms innovation and new forms of organizing actions This is a research report on the literature review carried out in the first stage of implementation of WP3

Empirical studies and identification of primary sources for the study of the agents of entrepreneurship, innovation and talent building in emerging markets in perspective (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)

This is a report on primary sources for the topic analysed as well as the empirical findings coming from official datasets and secondary survey data. This is to be carried out in the second and third stages of implementation of WP4 and corresponds with tasks 4.2: This task mainly consists on gathering empirical evidence on historical collective entrepreneurship in emerging markets. Data will be reconstructed from public and corporate archives. At the same time, expert interviews will be conducted to gain a better appreciation for the agents that contribute to collective entrepreneurship and shape its results in terms of innovation and talent building.

Literature review on sustainable entrepreneurship (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)

A report with an overview of the main research fields within the area of sustainability issues of entrepreneurship in emerging and advanced markets The report will provide an overview of the extant scholarly work and will present the main schools of thought as well as main challenges and issues within the literature In addition the report will point towards gaps within the literature and provide proposals for future research
