Une conférence européenne pour dynamiser les innovateurs
Des représentants de haut niveau et des décideurs nationaux et régionaux, des entreprises, des chercheurs, des universitaires et des membres de la société civile ont été invités à discuter du prochain programme de recherche et d’innovation de l’UE (2021-2027). C’était l’objectif du projet IEW Bucharest 2019, financé par l’UE, qui a organisé une conférence internationale de trois jours intitulée «Innovative Enterprise Week Bucharest 2019». L’événement était co-organisé par la Commission européenne, par l’intermédiaire de la DG CONNECT et de la DG RTD, en collaboration avec la présidence roumaine du Conseil de l’Union européenne. Des débats ont été organisés sur la façon de combler le fossé entre l’idée et le projet réalisable, sur la façon de soutenir les innovations de rupture et sur le potentiel de développement présentant un risque élevé pour les investisseurs privés. Le but était de rehausser le profil politique du nouveau Conseil européen de l’innovation.
Objectif
The objective of the project is to organise a three full day international conference titled “Innovative Enterprise Week Bucharest 2019” (IEW Bucharest 2019) .
The conference will bring on the stage debates about how to bridge the gap from idea to investable project, how to support breakthrough innovations and the scale up potential with high risk for private investors.
Over the course of the three days, the conference will focus on three overarching topics for the next EU Research and Innovation Programme (2021-2027) – Horizon Europe: Pathfinder, Accelerator and Financial Instruments.
The project will work intensively to engage quadruple helix actors – high level representatives and national and regional decision makers, companies, research and academia and civil society – in an active dialogue on how to enable breakthrough innovation through the new European Innovation Council.
The legacy of IEW Bucharest 2019 is two-folded: along with the increased levels of awareness and understanding of the Horizon Europe programme, with particular focus on the European Innovation Council, a framework for new international collaborations for innovative projects will be arranged.
