Innovation support through specialized EEN services for Walloon innovative SMEs 2020-2021

Project description

Innovation support services to Walloon SMEs

The Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) supports SMEs’ growth and internationalisation potential to increase rapidly. The EU-funded KAMWAL 2.4 project will offer specialised innovation support services to Walloon SMEs through the ENN in 2020 2021. The project will deliver a service of dedicated coaching (Key Account Management service), benefiting from the European Innovation Council pilot instruments, that will assess SME gaps and coaching needs, identify external coaches and support their work with the companies. Two dozen SMEs with innovation and internationalisation potential will also benefit from the Enhanced Management Innovation Capacity (EIMC) service that will improve the management of their innovation processes through the specific dedicated tool INNONET developed by InnovaTech.

Objective

The Kamwal 2.4 project aims to propose specialized innovation support services to Walloon SMEs through the Enterprise Europe Network during the years 2020 and 2021. These services help SMEs having already a clear growth and internationalization potential to grow more rapidly.
The proposed innovation services are twofold. One the one hand, a service of dedicated coaching (KAM service) is proposed to the Walloon SMEs benefiting from the EIC pilot instruments. The service starts by an assessment of the SME lacks and coaching needs by specialized consultants . It continues with the identification of external coaches. These coaches will work with the company with the support of the EEN team and services.
It is foreseen that the project will have the opportunity to serve 4 Walloon beneficiaries.

SMEs having a clear potential of innovation and internationalisation can also benefit from the EIMC (Enhanced Management Innovation Capacity) service which aims to help them to improve the management of their innovation processes, from idea selection to success on the market. This will be achieved through the use of a specific dedicated tool, INNONET developed by InnovaTech compliant with the CEN/TS 16555-1 norm. It is foressen that a set of 24 promising Walloon SMEs benefit from this specialized service.

Both services will be operated by a team of experienced consultants coming from InnovaTech, as partner of the Entreprise Europe Network Wallonia and as specialist of innovation support to SMEs.
