Entreprise Europe Ouest H2020

Project description

Towards innovative and competitive SMEs

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) represent a key sector of the EU economy. This is why it’s important to boost their competitive edge and encourage them to to expand in new markets. But not all SMEs have reached the capacity level to innovate and achieve their goals. The EU-funded EEN OUEST H2020 project intends to offer SMEs high added values that will help them innovate and reach international markets. The project will work on two proposals. The first applies a methodology called Check Innov which aims to tailor services concerning innovation management. The second consists of the Key Account Management (KAM) that is coaching services offered by EEN advisors to SME Instrument beneficiaries.

Objective

"EEN OUEST aims at providing high added value services to SMEs willing to access new markets and innovate. Part of the services foreseen in the implementation strategy (WP4) concerns the capacity of businesses to innovate and succeed in their SME Instrument projects. Two kind of actions are proposed :
- Innovation Management : enhancing innovation capacity is at stake for many small companies which need to remain competitive. EEN Ouest delivers tailored made services through a diagnosis and an action plan, thanks to a methodology called ""Check Innov""
- Key Account Management for SME Instrument beneficiaries : SME which succeeded in the SME instrument calls can benefit from coaching services from EEN advisors. The objective is to maximise their chances to succeed in their project. The KAM has been extended to other EIC tools."
