INNOV-EM Consortium composed of six partners with different type of structures like public, semi-public and private institutions and their different internal procedure struggled to achieve its targets by performing activities as projected in work plan.KOSGEB Bursa , ABİGEM DM, ULUTEK and KOU Techno park are main partners while BCCI and ECI are only supporting partners of the project proposed.The project aimed to offer integrated SME services of enhancing capacity of managing innovation processes and 'key account management' of successful SME Instrument applicants .Under this project mentoring and coaching services offered to SME‟s. Horizon2020 (H2020) programmes and the project aims to assist the SMEs to cope with challenges of competitiveness
Our experts assessed the suitableness of the companies for the innovation management service support by using the consortium’s diagnostic tools during the company visits in the region. The SMEs which need services for developing their innovation capacity were determined by the expert in the first project period.In the second term, the SMEs defined as suitable for innovation management service support were diagnosed with the IMP³rove AND Atomic tool. The SMEs’ gaps, weak points and bottlenecks were identified with the diagnostic tools in order to enhance the SMEs’ innovation management capacity.(EIMC services) As a summary 17 EIMC services were given in 2020-2021 period however KAM services couldnt be given in that period because of economical issues and closure of borders and companies due to covid pandemic
EEN was a key instrument to help support the internationalisation, innovation and competiveness of SMEs. “Enhancing the innovation management capacity of SMEs” program strengthen of existing services and building qualified staff in East Marmara Region Related to the Key Account Management for beneficiaries of the SME Instrument (KAM) services, only two partners proposed targets which are KOU Technopark and ULUTEK since there was adequate number of beneficiaries for SME Instrument, and FTI or FET-Open Projects in our region. So, consortium focused on providing services to enhance the innovation management capacities of SMEs.Also our consortium began to give first KAM services to SME's in 2019 of project which will be a good impact for our future targets however KAM’s couldnt be done in 2020-2021 period because of economical issues and closure of borders and companies due to covid pandemic.
