Enhance innovation management capacities in Andalusian SMEs. CESEAND InnoAses 2020/2021.

Project description

SME support in Andalusia

Bordering Spain’s southern coast, Andalusia is home to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that will receive assistance to grow and innovate. Specifically, the EU-funded CESEAND InnoAses5 project will work to enhance their ties with other partners in Europe to reinforce their potential cooperation and cross border activities. The main goal of this project is to ensure key SME beneficiaries of H2020 are able to reach their innovation potential and the innovation management capacity. The project, through the provision of support services and information, will contribute to the smart growth of Andalusia, Ceuta and Melilla. Advisory services include mentoring, coaching and partner search activities for SMEs.

Objective

The CESEAND InnoAses5 project identifies the Innovation Management Capacities Improvement as a crucial milestone to create more innovative Andalusian SMES, enhance their relation with other potential European partners, reinforce their potential cooperation and increase the cross border activities becoming more and more competitive into the single market.

Advance and tailored support into the SMEs Innovation Management Capacities is also needed in order to create a favourable ecosystem for their innovations growth, providing support to research, development and innovation projects, such as specific services aimed to improve their innovation skills and address the financing needs required by the implementation and execution of high-risk and high-potential innovation ideas to markets. This means, as described into the figure below, start analysing which ideas, from a pool of different ones, are able to arrive faster to the market, making more profitable the resources allocated for these projects.

The two main objectives of this proposal are to ensure that key SME beneficiaries of H2020 are helped efficiently to fulfil their innovation potential and the innovation management capacity of the SME clients is increased; which contributes to the smart growth of Andalusia, Ceuta and Melilla; through the provision of support services as well as information and advisory services such as mentoring, coaching and partner search activities for SMEs aimed to enhance the innovation management capacities, wishing to develop innovation projects with a strong European or international potential.
