We have achieved the main two objectives to ensure: (1) firstly, that key SME beneficiaries of H2020 are helped efficiently in order to achieve their innovation potential and, (2) secondly, that the innovation management capacity of the SME clients is increased, by the provision of support services or information and advisory services, such as mentoring, coaching and partner search activities for the SMEs that are trying to enhance the innovation management capacities and wishing to develop innovation projects with a strong European or international potential.
We have achieved the 100% of the initially estimated KAM services for the period 2020/2021, and above the 70% of EIMC services due the COVID situation such as urgent actions for prevention of occupational hazards, labour issues, business model pivoting and access to financial instrument targeting working capital as sales dropped in many sector during and after the confinement.
In this timeframe, the consortium has continued delivering services in a similar way as in 2019, making use of the already known methodologies and tools such as IMPROVE, IHC and CoachCom tools, but also implementing the Digital Innovation Quotient (DIQ), the Key Account Management (KAM) and the Enhancing Innovation Management Capacities (EIMC) services. A novelty during 2021 has been the provision of an additional type of service on sustainability via IMPROVE Academy Customer Sustainability Navigator (CSN).
