Project description

Innovative boost for Turkey’s SMEs

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Turkey’s Eastern Anatolia region will receive a big boost as regards their innovation support services. The aim of the EU-funded bsnEA project is to help selected SMEs in the area boost their technological and innovation capacity. For that purpose, it will provide guidance and support to help them establish effective innovation management systems. Specifically, the project will provide step-by-step guidance in order to help the SMEs increase their R&D and innovation management capacities; moreover, it will introduce them to the SME Instrument and inform them about intellectual property rights.

Objective

This project will offer quality innovation-support services in order to enhance and strengthen the technological and innovation capacity of
selected SMEs in the region. The expected result of the services will significantly increase the technological and innovation capacity of the
client SMEs. “Enhancing and strengthening the Research and Innovation capacity of potential SMEs in the region covered by the participant
partners” will be the main objective of this work programme.
The approach of the project will be to accompany, guide and support the SMEs along their journey to Horizon 2020, ensuring best use and
successful completion of the H2020 SME Instrument projects. A main goal will be to establish effective Innovation Management Systems in
SMEs in response to their needs.
The project services will be:
• To increase the R&D and innovation management capacities of SMEs
• To introduce them to the SME Instrument
• To maintain awareness of intellectual property rights.
To achieve the above mentioned services the Partners will ensure of the level of readiness of the client SME at each step of the serviceprocess.
