Les soins de santé dermatologiques non invasifs s’améliorent
La peau est le plus grand organe du corps, elle protège les organes internes des blessures et des infections bactériennes. C’est pourquoi la dermatologie joue un rôle important dans le diagnostic de nombreux problèmes de santé. Le projet CLEAN SLATE, financé par l’UE, va mettre sur le marché une nouvelle technologie révolutionnaire qui devrait considérablement améliorer les soins de santé dermatologiques non invasifs. Selon plusieurs études, plus de 100 millions de personnes attendent une solution axée sur les pigments exogènes et endogènes. Les traitements actuels sont inefficaces, douloureux, dommageables pour les tissus cutanés et très longs. La nouvelle solution permettra de surmonter ces obstacles. Le projet s’attachera à finaliser le développement du produit, en procédant à des tests afin d’obtenir l’autorisation réglementaire par des études cliniques.
Objectif
Founded by a world-leading physicist and a track-record technology entrepreneur, LightSense has developed and patented a breakthrough technology that dramatically improves non-invasive dermatological healthcare.
We plan to bring this technology to market through skincare clinics. We will initially offer aesthetic dermatology services focused on exogenous and endogenous pigments because (1) there is large and growing market, over 100 million people - and growing - are looking for a solution; (2) current treatment offerings are ineffective, painful, damaging to skin tissue, and
very lengthy; (3) our technology breakthrough positions us to offer a significantly better treatment experience; (4) we already have significant intellectual property protection that enables successful go to market.
With success in treating pigmentation disorders, we intend to quickly expand our offer, establishing industry-wide and academically-recognised solutions for many laser dermatology procedures.
This project focuses on finalising product development and testing, and gaining regulatory approval through clinical studies, and final commercialisation of the innovation.
