Engineering configuration of the Thermal Energy Storage system (opens in new window)

Task 4.1.The thermal-hydraulic design of the TES system is reported including number of tubes, shell-side inserts, heat transfer fluid and mass flow rates.

Preliminary design of Sundial for AMTP (opens in new window)

Task 3.1.Basic design of the Sundial for AMTP. It will consist on the optic design, including the definition of the array of mirrors, and the thermal design. The document will include the selection of a one-or multi-tube receiver design.

Report on the integrated ASTEP model development and Conceptual Designs (opens in new window)

Task 5.1.Report on the integrated ASTEP model, conceptual design, specification, sizing of ASTEP system and simulation results will be documented as part of this report.(KPI 5: Up to 135 kWh of thermal production per day in each case study. 25 MWh of yearly thermal production in each case study)(Avoiding 5.7 t of CO2 to the atmosphere (KPI 6), saving 2 t of NG (KPI 7) and 5 kg of NOx (compared to uncontrolled burners) (KPI 8))

Task 8.5.1) Exergy analysis of the system will be presented as part of this report (PU,M25).2) Final Exergy assessment and improvements as compared to the intermediate report (CO, M46).

D8.3.2 - Report on Social LCA: Screening test and first recommendations (opens in new window)

Phase 2 and 3 of Social LCA Methodology (inventory of the drivers which may lead to an impact and impact assessment) will be finished and first recommendations will allow to apply adjustments regarding socio-economic aspects.

Task 6.2.Interim demo at M34. Demo storage system that will be used during the tests carried out in T6.2. This system will be able to use different PCMs. Evidences of construction.
