Engineering configuration of the Thermal Energy Storage system (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

Task 4.1.The thermal-hydraulic design of the TES system is reported including number of tubes, shell-side inserts, heat transfer fluid and mass flow rates.

Preliminary design of Sundial for AMTP (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

Task 3.1.Basic design of the Sundial for AMTP. It will consist on the optic design, including the definition of the array of mirrors, and the thermal design. The document will include the selection of a one-or multi-tube receiver design.

Report on the integrated ASTEP model development and Conceptual Designs (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

Task 5.1.Report on the integrated ASTEP model, conceptual design, specification, sizing of ASTEP system and simulation results will be documented as part of this report.(KPI 5: Up to 135 kWh of thermal production per day in each case study. 25 MWh of yearly thermal production in each case study)(Avoiding 5.7 t of CO2 to the atmosphere (KPI 6), saving 2 t of NG (KPI 7) and 5 kg of NOx (compared to uncontrolled burners) (KPI 8))
