Simplifaction of company-internal eco-audits specifically for small to medium sized companies: an innovative tool for environmental management. Enhancement of the acceptance of VO (EC) NO.:1836/93. Transfer of economical and ecological viable improvements.

An information system shall be developed based on a network and a user-friendly software. It provides the user with a comprehensive instrument for the application of the rules and regulations of VO (EC) NO.:1836/93 for his company internal environmental concerns. It supports objectives and programs related to eco-audits. The concept is built on a interactive database divided into separate segments which is specifically elaborated for different sectors of industry. The database of the information system will contain the relevant guidelines, rule, regulation and laws. The target group is comprised of company management, environmental consultants and persons responsible for ecoauditing.
