Objective
OBJECTIVES
Training is all too often regarded as a business transaction between the training mechanism which produces it and the company which consumes it. But the reality is more complex, since the learner is necessarily the embodiment of his own training. The quality of training for learners is, then, the result of various compromises and actions, the study of which is becoming important. In this study, the concept of centring of training will be cleared up, to see whether training situations exist which more naturally place the learner at the centre of the training, and to define new modes of analysing needs and assessment methodologies which would take simultaneous account of the viewpoint of the company and that of the learner.
ACTIVITIES
First of all, the work already carried out in this field will be analysed. Then, each partner will observe a training mechanism centred on the learner. This will highlight the concrete needs analysis mechanisms used and the methodological tools used. Of course, it will be necessary to take account of the specific context (organisation of training and production) in which they fall. Finally, work common to all the participants will provide an expert view of all the steps taken.
RESULTS
The project will culminate in three reports:
- An initial report summarising the existing work.
- An intermediate report featuring all the case studies produced.
- A final report containing all the results obtained.
