Project description
Brain dynamics in everyday routine movements
Mobile Brain/Body Imaging integrative approach (MoBI) was recently developed to investigate brain and movement dynamics. This technique is based on mobile electroencephalography synchronized to motion capture to study the relationship between brain dynamics, movement and cognition in most routine movements, such as walking, balancing or learning motor-cognitive tasks. The objective of the EU-funded TwinBrain project is to advance the scientific and technological research activities in Slovenia through the cooperation with international research institutions from Germany, Switzerland and Italy. Leading researchers in neuro-muscular control, MoBI, the neuroscience of cognitive processes and machine learning will form a network that will facilitate training and early-stage research growth through the exchange of best practices, workshops and summer schools.
